Have you ever seen the largest Gold Nugget found in the State of California. Well here you can see a absolute replica. Can you imagine? I can and hope one day I find a nugget myself.

The many artifacts of different era's is interesting. Clothing, tools, photos. I enjoy antiques and what they represent in our history. I often wonder where the people have been. Did they smile allot or were they work horses.

Here are my friends Marci and Rhonda. We went together to visit the museum. Outside were replica's of the bldgs and business's.
I love to play with pictures and get shots that make me laugh... Here I am in the TP. The rustic feel of the out doors makes me feel like I would really be OK living in this era. BUT then again no instant cameras or computers.

Rhonda looks pretty comfy on this tractor... I doubt she would enjoy really using it. But she does LOVE farmville on Facebook.

Historic Covered Bridge

Honey Run

What a thrill it is to have the ability to explore this absolutely beautiful country side in Northern California. Today we embarked upon a spot I had never seen or experienced before. It is a historic spot in Chico, Ca on Honey Run Road.

The day was absolutely beautiful. It was about 90 degrees outside. The water was refreshing once you entered the water. Emmy and I were ready to explore and swim.

Family Fun
We took this chance on a new spot and were we ever happy. Great for family's and just people wanting to cool off in the river and floating in the swift river current. As you can see there are rocks that you are able to jump off into a pool of over 6 foot deep water. You need to wear some sort of foot protection as the rocks can be hot on the feet. I wore my flip flops and I will not do that again. Each time I got into the water they would fall off. A strapped sandel or water shoe works best. For kids it is critical to make sure they have a life vest on. As the current is swift and you want your child protected.

Favorite part of my day for me was meeting a sweet autistic girl named Britney. I began talking to her and she reached out to me and said,"This is for you" Big smile upon her face. I said what is it? She said a Rock. I brought that rock home and put her name and date on it. Precious.

Each person we met today were incredibly friendly, joyful and we had a blast!
